I am going to be a freshman at Central CT State University and i am getting a new computer. I have narrowed it down to dell and hp, same computer, same everything else. which one should i get. dell is $350 more but i get a free digital camera upgrade.

Neither as being a student you understand what you want before you do it.Study mbds,video cards,sound cards freebies etc.than build
Your custom Computer.You will knock them out in your dorm.

I agree, custom computer may not save you money but you could get so much more in it for the same price. Or buy what the Dell/HP have in them for half the price.
