Theres such items on ebay for very cheap, I stumbled across one and read the description out of interest, apparently it plugs into the keyboard socket, looks exactly like an adapter, and when you open notepad and press a certain key, everything that has been typed since --insert time here-- is recorded.

i imagine very well. most people hardly ever look behind their computers. as for the device its self, theres really no room for it too stuff it, all its doing is recording chars then playing them back with a certain key combo.

the one i saw was for ps2.

ps2 as in, the keyboard connection or ps2 as in, playstation 2 (what I thought you meant).

Surely those adapters are pointless, since most snooping would be done with a mouse, what will he achieve by keylogging? Maybe a few recorded conversations? but nothing much of any use.
