Heatsinks and fans

Hey do I need a fan for my processor, because it didn't come with one, it just came with a mammoth heatsink. It's an intel celeron 2.2 GHZ.

Yeah; with a mammoth heatsink a celeron will be ok. As ok as a Celeron can be at least.

No fan? lmao? I had alot of heat problems with my processor recently... Make sure your cpu is running at about 50oC max when idle (check bios for this info) if its running under then it should be fine

Yeah; generally you'd want a fan but if it came without one then I would have to say leave it without one. Unless as Computer Freak said it is running over 50 Celsius.

The gap in the floppy drive can supply enough fresh air to cool a celeron. theyre not fast enough to get hot!
