image databases

This may not be related to this part of the forum. But i thought this is the best possible forum in which i could get an answer. i am doing a project on image databases. So i require a huge databse of images. i am looking out for a datbase of texuters and colors. i am looking out for atleast a lakh images. can anyone tell how i could get it free of cost over the web. Also it would be nice if it is from a recognized site so that i can quote it in my project and it will have more worth.

try google image search and just save everything that come up under Textures, or Logos?
