Hey i was wondering if anyone knew of a program i can download and run so i can record myself playing games and stuff so i can like make a video and add music and stuff to it, also was wondering if anyone knew of a good video editing program :p

for desktop recordnig you could look for a programme called Fraps or a programme called SnagIT

For video editing the daddy of them all has to be Adobe Premiere, for simply tagging clips together i think that the windows movie maker is OK. It's unlikely that you will find a descent free program, you might do well to check the cover discs of some PC magazines to see if you can find a free full version, or a good demo so you get to know what you like.

Audio yes, probably part of your sound card or Windows sound recorder.
Video no way.unless your buddy has a camcorder and is willing to stand there tapeing while you have fun.
p.s you can save a frame,not motion.
Prt Scr.

there might be some program out there that does video... I don't think so though. Anyway, If you have xp, Windows movie maker isn't soo bad, if your only going to be doing home movies and stuff like that. but i also saw a couple freeware video editing programs on this site:www.freewarefiles.com but there probably not that good, but it might be worth checking it out. If your willing to pay, there are lots of good programs out there, such as Pinnacle.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm talking to myself... Both of the programs I posted are able to take motion video from games and same them as an avi file.

The programme called SnagIT also records audio to wave files, pictures to picture files. - the only trouble is it's not freeware.

Fraps on the other hand does have a free, version available, fraps is a program that specialises in taking motion video from games.

sorry that you feel that you are being ignored, or talking to yourself. I guess I would feel that way too since a couple people said there wasn't any video recording programs for that, when you just posted two. I guess i didn't see yur post somehow.
