i need a processor for new games but i need one cheap

i want to play new games with the raedon 9800 pro but i need a good processor... the thing is my budget is kind of tight? wich one is good? thanks

If you meet the game requirements,why worry.2.0 is pretty good.
You might need a new mbd/cpu to do a worthwile upgrade.
Upgradeing a cpu only really isn't a good idea.

thats the same thing i have actually. it is currently overcloacked to 2200 speed though. i think it is time for an upgrade(for the both of us)
i decided on an xp2800+. 2.08GHz is pretty sweet. plus you can always OC it if you want!!

i am actually doing a complete upgrade/rebuild, so it will work nicely for me. the biggest differencec in games is obviously your video card. seeing as you have a 9800, you need not upgrade. fast/more RAM wouldnt hurt either.

i didnt know it was possible to have 481MB of ram. well, either way, 512 should do nicely, so youre pretty close.
are you having touble playing newer games? by the looks of it, you should be alright.
