Who become resellers?

What do you mean, what kind of people more frequently look for resellers account (I mean their job and social status: webmasters, programmers, students)? And what is the main reason they do it (to start they own bussiness, to host multiple domains of their friends or for other reason)?
And finally is the hosting the main bussiness for them, or only something like hobby or additional earnings?

Some people use reseller accounts for all the reasons you listed. The biggest is to use multi domain hosting. However that is a waist imo. Some hosts, or resellers who go into business, this is the main business, it takes a lot of work, and seldom will ppl do it as a hobby.
