Help, I Need Your Opinion!!!

i'm really keen to buy a laptop, one of the reasons for this is so that i can burn dvds. heres the problem:
i dont know whether to get a laptop with an internal dvd writer
(requires me to copy dvds to hard drive before burning to dvd-r)
OR
get a laptop with a dvd-rom and buy a seperate (external) dvd writer so that i can just copy straight to the dvd.
PLEASE HELP ME BY GIVING ME YOUR OPINION ON WHICH WAY WOULD BE BETTER/FASTER/EASIER.

sometimes making an image image file to the hard disk while copying can use quite a bit of space temporarily. If you do not mind that, then you should get an internal writer, it's much handier.

I agree, depends on how much space you got on your laptop.. and i think is cheaper to have an internal dvd burner
