Hi guys i am new to this forum!
I want to ask you something and i believe that
if anyone knows it will be one of you!
The problem is that i have a tv-out and i wondered
can i buy an expensive big screen television and use
it as a monitor..?
I know that it might sound stupid but i think that it would
be great if it works!
{I imagine myself lying on my bed and decide to turn on my
pc and work from there...the idea is not to put it on the desk
and work in front of it on 1m.}

yes, you can, but you'll find the resolution sucks (and text i almost unreadable, as TV's only use something like 500 lines (actualy I think it might even be less than that)

That is the question...
I will probably stand about 3m from it and i suppose if i buy
lcd tv wouldn't it be like a big lcd monitor but bigger....?
ain't the resolution going to be good cause if i won't be able to
read and see good there will be no use...

I'm sure its brilliant as a TV; but as root said the Resolution is not good at all. I think it is probably less and you probably won't be able to see font under 30 from 3m away.

Best to have 1024 by 800; but on a TV that big I'd expect 1500 by 1200 - thats about what a monitor of the size would have.
