I am new at building computers and was curious about building my own LCD for a desktop from an old laptop LCD. I was wondering if anyone knows the possibilties and/or the restrictions of this.
It would be far easier if the laptop works to set it up as a network and use the laptop screen remotely. If you have to ask how to do it you probably won't. LCDS have a ton of connections. and require sophisticated power supplies.
Thats cool, I really wasnt aware of the connections the laptop LCDs had. I am really just looking for a cheap way to get a LCD that could maybe customized.
