Program Freezing

I was running Adware 6.0 and Spybot Search & Destroy.
Adware 6.0 problem: When I'm searning for adwares, it will eventually freeze and not respond after reaching about 33,000. So I have to close it, since it's not responding.

Spybot Search & Destroy - After it searches for everything, and I am able to delete everything, it'll freeze up about half way and not delete anything.

Any advice on how to fix this?

Hmmm, thats a bugger. If you look through the list on Ad-Aware that it gives you - delete the stuff manually. Thats what I did before I realised it deleted it for you - it was quite annoying.

dont be fooled that i am a newbie member....... the reason your programs are freezing is

1) maybe you have too much stuff on your computer such as games etc.
2) you might be running other programs at the same time as the adware and spybot. these programs take up alot of your comps proccesing power in order to succefully deep scan your registry. so i reccomend running one thing at a time or if that doesnt work you may need to free up some comp space...and if that doesnt work you could always re-install.

How much RAM does your PC have and how much processor speed?
Also, how many processes are running during the scan?

This info would help you know...

have you downloaded the latest verion of aadware.

update the files.
