Optrox scanner Photomaker BE+

As I am new to the site this question may hve been answered already.

I have up graded from Windows 98 to XP and cannot get the scanner to work. I have loaded it several times bet nothing happens, it just sits there. I have checked the power supply (15.5v) and that is ok.. any help is welcome.

How old is the scanner? Its likely if it hasn't worked so far that it just doesn't like XP; some older perhipherals don't.

The scanner is about 4years and came with the PC.The printer is plugged into the scanner and the scanner is into LPT1.The printer is operational.The scanner disc loads up ok.

It sounds too old; does the Printer come with a Windows XP Driver? You could always look on the manurfacturer's site for one maybe?
