it's a video DVD and by the way i don't have the drivers installed beacuse i dont' have the CD, i tried looking for them everywhere but no where to be found?, i found driver upgrades but not the installs

Theres only 1 kind of dvd-rom device.I'm asking about the dvd disk you are trying to play.Is it a Theatre movie or a Singing group for example with video content ? Both use different players.
Sorry drivers was a mistake,Windows has all you need.
