i have a bt on-air1800, one of those wireless 56k internet modems.
i was wondering if you can buy a similar product but instead of a ubs transmitter you could buy a PCMCIA card that would do the same.
or wheather you could buy a new base station and a PCMCIA card to match.
i have 56k modem.

also these PCMCIA cards where you put a sim card in and connect via gprs.

do these dial your normal isp number, e.g 0870 number.
or
does it connect through gprs like the internet on your phone.

i would rather buy the top thing because it would be cheaper in the long run
