What is the best for progaming games???

All I want to do is creat games but there are so many choices to pick from. Like C or VisualBasic. Where can I get somthing like that also? What is the easiest language to learn that is still powerfull.

A nice one to start off with is Java. That is very popular for games and quite powerful while still easy to learn.

Java would be a nice start - and then you can test it out easily by transfering it quickly over the internet to your friends who could also try it. But C and Visual Basic in Games especially would be very much harder - although you would get generally better games if you're up to it.
