I have Internet Explorer version 6.0.2800.1106.xpsp2.030422-1633 running on
Windows XP Pro. When I click on a link within a web page that attempts to
open a second page, the new window opens but goes no further. The new page
never loads and the dreaded hourglass never goes away. In fact, I can still
see the first page because the new page never even gets to the stage where
it fully opens. Please can someone clever help me???

Cheers

I aint come across this exact problem before, but try right clicking on the link and selecting 'Open in a new window'. This might help, if not, then you might need a reinstall of IE

I'll try figure it out though as i have heard of a few similar problems to this, but not exactly :)

I hate to tell you,but i had IEx 6 and Wme,i went back to 5.5.I'm sorry you can't.but see if Windows Update will help.

If you've got a reasonable Pop-up blocker it won't stop ones you've asked for like hyperlinked ones.

Tell that to my online banking.
I use popup stopper sometimes.
A 2 key press will allow what you want allowed.

;)
Lets see what solves this.
:p
