You wish to use XP as a router?

XP has Internet Connection Sharing software available, but I don't like it very much. You can try searching for 'Windows NAT Software' I know some include... WinGate, Proxy+, and many more. I just searched google for 'freeware windows nat software'.

NAT is Network Address Translation, which would be a software version of a router (Linksys, DLink, Cisco). Try to use NAT instead of a Proxy, since it will limit you and cause some headache in the future if you are unsure of your situations.

They should network together much the same as if they were both windows apart from sharing files etc. Can you pind each machine?
