Can't Install Modem...

I have a Conexant HSF2002 Data/Fax Modem that I can't get to install on Win2k. I used the installation files that came with my pre-load version of XP-Home, that didn't work, so I uninstalled the drivers. I dowloaded Generic Drivers from Conexant.com, still no luck. I used the drivers that power the modem under 98se ( which I also have used this modem under successfully ) No Go!

I have uninstalled the drivers, once again...Windows is detecting the Modem, but it keeps giving me driver errors under the troubleshooting tab. What do I do? Any Suggestions Would Be Great......

I tried the download you suggested Kalthorn;
[!!arrgghh!!] it didn't work. I am going to try switching slots..( that's going to be fun )..hope it works, I'm about to yank my hair out over this.
It's a good thing I have a LCD monitor, otherwise I'd run my fist through it!

I still can't get this modem to work, I tried all three slots, the re-installed drivers, but...Nothing!!! I don't know if I'll ever get this thing to work; I can't think of anything else to do but get another modem! :(
