Uh, no .... you don't have to pay for things just through Credit Card anymore. You can pay through Postal Order, Cash, Debit Card, PayPal and Nochex. You don't need to supply ANY of that information to join.

Why would you need a credit card number if your selling something? Half of the people on Ebay use either Postal Orders or Nochex, and Nochex only requires a Debit Card. A 16 year old can get a Debit card FFS. Legally too.
