Chris, when the posts and everything was gone, what happened was called an 'SQL Injection'.

phpBB is not secure. People easily do SQL Injections on phpBB. They need to make it a little more safe...

Once they hacked a site of mine, luckely nothing was lost and a friend of mine was able to restore it.

I have no idea what he did, I told him about it, he asked my ftp info and all and promised to try to fix it. I totally gave up on the site when one day he told me that the site was finally back ...
