Tell me about it! I haven't got the internet yet, (coms on Monday) and yet every time i login, CHECKING FOR NEW VIRUSES!!!!! Come on, with modern tech you would expect to know that i haven't put anything else on the computer so why ask over and ver again???????

Its rediculous. I tried using AVG, which is free. It SEEMS better, without all the stupid little warning boxes coming up all the time, but you soon realise that Norton is the only antivirus that gives you the protection you need.

You can disable the residential shield in AVG.

I've disabled something, but all will be needed once my computer goes online. Oh, yesterday the virus checker scanned all 200GB of my harddrive and found no viruses!
