They have not been hacked. They just have a bug in the forum. Hacking (Cracking) Would be when the server goes down and goes non-responsive.

I had to purchase a vBulletin license. That was the reason I got it. YaBB was fine when we had about 20 member and a couple 100 posts but cant take the traffic (Unless you have a good server (Which we do)). I had seen it before so that is why I got this one.
