I don't know what I am doing wrong but this forum seems to attract people who act like three year olds. Any suggestions, on attracting more mature people that like to discuss the ocasional technical topic?

Well, i suppose ur downfall was attracting the attention of all the people you know, regardless of their intrests, ask people what they want from this forum, if it's technical, and you don't think their lying keep em, if not, chuck em. and can you honestly say you don't encourage all the 3yr olds to flame. My advice, short of removing members, create a new board "THE CESSPOOL" for flaming. and advise your mods to remove any posts/threads that are off topic, and move flame topics, like this one, to the cesspool.

That would be a funny and clever idea. Make a new room called Cesspool and put our posts in there. ou keep members and posts while keepingit professional. This made me laugh

it is a proven idea, it has worked on other forums, it keeps flaming out of the open topics, and can be closed if it gets out of hand, check out the cesspool on www.umbrella-inc.com
