Even if it was, which I seriously doubt too, I can see no serious use for it. Mobiles aren't on the internet all the time anyway. You'd have to catch the person on there while they were on the internet which at the prices won't be often. And what would you do if after the time effort and money you did actually manage to Hack them? Nothing!
Don't bother even trying.

Yes, it is possible to hack certain mobile phones.
specifically blu-tooth enabled devices, out-of-the-box they tend not to have any securty on them, which means that if you sit say on a train with a blu tooh enabled PDA and the right software you can view the message box, diary, phnoebook of any unsecure phone. - and the blu tooth is always on.
this is called blu-driving and is very siomillar to war-driving wireless networks.
