oooooo it's shiny........

I like how they say "if they put it in production" they spent 5 million on it and they smacked a name and year on it.

How would you like to be the dude that built the real size clay model of the car only to find out that ford wasn't going to put the car into production.

Seriously...when you rush a red light, the cameras can't even catch you because the flash would just blind the cameras :D

If you look real close it has the lines of an old Opel GT.

If you look real close it has the lines of an old Opel GT.
I think it looks more like the lines of a 67 vet except it is rounder at the rear glass and it has a pointy tail.
But I can see the front kind of resembles an opel gt. either way I think it is ugly..A cheap retrofit of two older cars just doesn't do it for me.:(

hehe. I'm the only one then that thinks it looks cheap, costing that much or not :p Especially the back with that weird curve that doesn't seem to match.... ouch... I was going to say the lights but I looked again and rather liked them. Though if it wasn't as shiny that you could see everything else. I think i'd like it. But it reminds me too much of a car thats out now, just shiny...er...

Reminds me a bit of those air balloon remote controlled things, with that metallic material on it, doesn't it? :p...

I do like that ferrari though. Would rather have one of them to tell the truth :p

Yeah but Polished metal wont work.

Look back in 84, A guy cam out with a radical design and a stainless steel body.. The Delorean
Big flop in my book. But they're are a rare and high looked for car.

O thats nothing companies have spent milions of research when the avg joe would of told them the same answer for a 20. Like the time Mcd's felt like finding a target audience and spent 2 mill researching it. BUt yea that car looks sweet :) i'ms ure it wouldn't be the shinny. They'll put a paintjob on it.

haha, damn..2007 series w/all chrome, that could'nt be legal cuz of sun glare in other passenger cars, but none the less bad asre ride.

I love the style of the delorean though, it reminds me of the way the doors open up on the Lamborgini Countach. The Lamborgini is my favorite ride of all time.

How can you say that its ugly!

damn right, its a beautiful machine. I want one, although it'd be probs too shiny, blind the other road users. But I wouldn't care, not my problem. If I found $200,000 on the street, I'd buy that (which is stupid because I'm too young to drive, and by the time I am it'd probably look rubbish. I bet scratches look awful on it, for a few weeks you'd look like the bees knees, until you scratched it on a kerb or fence or something like that

Yeah, the DeLorean DMC 12 was a pretty spiffy car. Too bad the market wasn't ready for such a car. Becides, the stainless steel body is be such a pain to clean.

thats a c6, i want the 03 z06 with the 427 TT package

alvino
June 25th, 2005, 09:50 PM
He means the C5 Vettes'...those ones are cool, but the pop-up headlights ruin the aerodynamic efficiency of the car (good thing the C6 has integrated ones).

Kage
June 25th, 2005, 11:41 PM
I like pop up headlights though, they just look futuristic and kewl when you pop them up!
I understand how they could affect the airflow though...
